A golden, yellow, brilliant colour with hints of wine blossom and lily on the nose, then a frank attack, well-balanced, fresh, candied citrus aromas in the mouth. This is the mark of a perfect Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grenache blanc.
Chateauneuf du Pape La Bernardine exhibits gorgeously perfumed aromas of cherry blossoms, crushed flowers, incense and assorted berry-styled fruits on both the nose and palate. A medium to full-bodied, with a supple, finesse-driven style and terrific purity of fruit, it has loads of charm and will drink nicely for 8-10 years
The Collection BIO Châteauneuf du Pape 2015 from Michel Chapoutier, so called because all fruits are grown organically, is a bottle of Châteauneuf du Pape not to be missed. Produced with about 70-80% Grenache and 20-30% Syrah, all grown on the property's grounds, this wine offers very present notes of white pepper, accompanied by ripe cherries and ground spices. It is full-bodied, with a creamy palate in the middle and a long, full-bodied finish. To Drink in the next 5 to 8 years. Robert Parker 92/100 points
