Masseto 2018 is a wine that perfectly expresses its unique terroir and its vintage, with its dark color and its expressive nose of perfectly ripe plums and cherries, as well as some spicy touches of new oak.
On the palate, the wine is ample and rich, qualities expected of a Masseto, but it also shows the refined and silky texture so typical of the 2018 vintage.
The finish is long, with a nice refreshing tannic presence. A particularly elegant version of Masseto, combining richness and refinement.

The 2019 Masseto, harvested a little later than usual, benefited from the sunny but mild climate of early September, giving it a dense but harmonious expression.
