A fresh and fine wine, vinified at the Mouton Cadet Winery Centre, full of rich aromas, ideal as an aperitif, with oysters or with grilled fish.
Beautiful pale-yellow colour with youthful glints of green. The nose is reserved before aeration, but already offers a glimpse of a very fresh wine. On aeration, the Sauvignon aromas emerge first. They are classic with a hint of exoticism. Then come more flowery notes of Sémillon. The oak is very well-integrated. On the palate, the attack offers volume without being excessive, and reveals a pleasant, tight structure. This is an R that will be remembered: simultaneously lively and delicate, with superb length!
The colour is a glittering light yellow. The highly complex and elegant nose reveals ripe fruit aromas mingled with notes of acacia blossom. From a clean, well-defined attack on peach and apricot flavours, the mid-palate displays a harmonious balance between acidity and a silky texture. The finish is mineral and very long.
Aile d’Argent 2012 reveals ripe Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon aromas and flavours, combining passion fruit and pineapple together with white peach and pear, lifted by slightly buttery, finely toasted notes. Displaying attractive minerality and length, Aile d’Argent 2012 may be considered an exceptional vintage.
This red Bordeaux is an honest and warm, equilibrated wine with fruit flavor, unctuous, and at the same time simple and charming.
This Bordeaux Red Baron Philippe de Rothschild is fruity and dense on the palate, expressing notes of strawberry and cherry. It is a blend of wines produced in the largest wine region of Bordeaux, the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations and high under the control of winemakers of the company, and packaged in Wine Centre Mouton Cadet.
This Bordeaux Blanc Franc Beausejour is produced from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes grown in the Bordeaux region of France. With fermentation and maturation in stainless steel tanks, Franc Beauséjour Blanc delights us with its straw yellow color with a fruity taste reminiscent of pear and green apple. Medium-bodied, it is a wine that will harmoniously accompany seafood, grilled fish and Japanese sushi and sashimi.
Mouton Cadet Blanc is made from rigorously selected grapes grown by our partner winegrowers in the Entre-Deux-Mers, the best area for white grape varieties in the Bordeaux region. Baron Philippe de Rothschild's winemakers monitor the selected parcels throughout the vegetation cycle, advising the growers on vineyard practices in order to meet the exacting quality standards of Mouton Cadet.
The monitoring of the vineyard and the grape harvest, the evolution of the methods of vinification and aging allowed us to round and soften the wine more, to refine the tannins, to increase their consistency in the mouth, to bring smoothness and bring toasted notes to the wine, while retaining the aromatic expression of ripe red fruit, characteristic of Mouton Cadet.
Each appellation selected by the Baron Philippe de Rothschild team has a unique terroir. For Mouton Cadet Heritage the limestone soils of Entre-Deux-Mers and the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux produce wines of refinement, while the clay soils around Blaye give fuller-bodied wines. The gravelly soils of Côtes de Bourg and the south of Entre-Deux-Mers bring elegance and freshness to the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
Deep purple colour. The nose is flattering dominated by soft spicy notes, grilled almonds and discreet toasted scents. In mouth it is well-balanced, round, medium structure with soft tannins. Peppery aromas at the end.
