Viñedo Chadwick 2018 - 75cl
Description
For a Sunday lunch built around a good meat dish, this Viñedo Chadwick 2018 is a broad, silky red. A tribute to Don Alfonso Chadwick, it is one of Chile's great reds.
Why choose it
- Origin: Puente Alto, Maipo Valley (Chile), made by the Chadwick family
- Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot (with a touch of Petit Verdot)
- On the nose: pastry notes, cedar, blackberry, liquorice, sour cherry, blackcurrant and herbs
- On the palate: broad, silky, succulent, depth and tension between richness and acidity
- 2018 vintage, 75 cl bottle; contains sulphites
How to serve Serve at 16–18 °C, ideally decanted; it really comes into its own with lamb, aged cheeses and grilled red meat.
