Tasting notes and reviews
Color : It has a deep crimson color.
Aroma : The elegant nose offers aromas of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, plum) with a touch of licorice, floral notes and subtle toasted fragrances. Notes of crushed cherry, tobacco and cedar can also be found.
Mouth : It is full-bodied and dense, with a remarkable freshness until the end, where the young, yet well-defined tannins stand out. The palate presents flavors of cassis, leather, and toasted oak, with great intensity.
Aging potential : It has an aging potential of about 15 years from harvest (until approximately 2031), but it is also enjoyable to drink young.
Awards : The 2016 vintage received several awards, including a Silver Medal at the Challenge International du Vin and a " Grand Or " at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2021.
Ratings : Received 93 points from James Suckling , who described it as brilliant.
