Description
Combro Colheita
A typical Douro DOC wine, with an intense aroma of red and black fruits, balanced with aromas of spices, tobacco and leather. On the palate, it displays structure, intensity, full body and firm tannins.
WINEMAKING PROCESS
Red wine produced in granite lagares (traditional stone troughs) with foot treading for two days, then transferred to stainless steel tanks with temperature control during fermentation. Both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations occurred spontaneously, with indigenous yeasts and lactic bacteria, respectively. Aging took place in French oak barrels for 18 months.
