Château Caillou d´Arthus 2023 Grand Cru 75cl
Description
Somehow unknown to the general public as it is only found in specialized stores, this Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, produced by Château la Fleur d'Arthus, deserves our full attention.
A vineyard with approximately 1.5 hectares of sandy and gravel soils, from which Jean-Denis Salvert produces 8,000 bottles per year.
The blend is half Merlot and half Cabernet Franc and the aging takes place in oak barrels for 15 months.
Caillou d´Arthus is a very flexible wine with a very weak oak note. It is generous, smooth and complex.
A juicy wine that will accompany a large number of red meat dishes for example.
