William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros 2023
Description
A great white Burgundy for luxurious meals: lobster, oysters, scallops or a fine fish in butter sauce. Very mineral and precise, with lemon, green apple, pear, white flowers and a saline touch, its oak adds texture without dominating.
Why choose it
- William Fèvre, Chablis Grand Cru Bougros, 2023 vintage
- 100% Chardonnay on Kimmeridgian soils above the Serein river
- Discreet used barrels; high acidity and a long, taut finish
- Enjoyable now, at its best between 2026 and 2035
- 750 ml, 13.5% ABV
How to serve Serve at 10–12 °C, decanted 30–45 minutes if young, with oysters, lobster, scallops, creamy poultry or Comté.
